Apocalypse at Waco

What really happened at the Branch Davidian compound near Waco, Texas in February 1993? Were the Branch Davidians slaughtered by the Federal Bureau of Investigations which subsequently bulldozed over it's crimes? Is it possible that the Davidians set themselves ablaze upon the instructions of a maniacal, apocalypse obsessed pedophile, instead?
